Bruised But Not Broken

Have you ever had a really bad day? A day when you didn’t think you could go on? Maybe it started the moment you got out of bed. Spilled the milk at breakfast. Up set your mom/wife because it ran on her new carpet. Left you briefcase at home with your papers for the first meeting of the day. Boss now wants to fire you cause you havn’t been able to make a sale for the last couple of weeks. Or you got to school only to find out that there was test, that you knew nothing about because you were out sick when the teacher said you would have it. Kids are laughing at you or talking about you cause you are not allowed to join their party. Or worse, they maybe talking starting a rumor that you were sick last week cause you have a "disease."
You hurt.... struggling..... some things maybe you fault but you are sure other things are not...But what is the use... Everyone is against me... know one cares...... today.... I want to show you that is not true... Someone does care!

Matt 12:20-2120 " A BATTERED REED HE WILL NOT BREAK OFF,AND A SMOLDERING WICK HE WILL NOT PUT OUT,UNTIL HE LEADS JUSTICE TO VICTORY. 21 "AND IN HIS NAME THE GENTILES WILL HOPE." NASU

Jesus does not plan to Batter or bruise you, His desire is to provide you with HOPE!

Does this mean that life will be easy? No, but you will not have to go through life alone.

I AM

While Jesus stood before his Accusers in Mark 14 he was asked, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?" His reply was this, "I am, and you shall see The Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of Heaven."

Wow, what a statement! No matter who you are or what you want to believe about Jesus, He gives us a commanding statement. He says clearly that He IS the Christ (the promised Messiah).

Today, you must deal with what He says. He is the Savior! But if you haven't asked Him to forgive you of your sins then you are lost in your sins.

Take today to admit you are a sinner, asked Jesus to forgive you and be YOUR Savior.

Then tell someone! The angels in heaven will rejoice.

Looking for Silver

Who among us would take the opportunity to go searching for valuable "gold or silver" especially if we were assured that there was a guaranteed reward. Sign me up most likely what you are thinking. We Solomon gives us some words of wisdom in Proverbs 10:20. There he says; "The tongue of the righteous is as choice silver, the heart of the wicked is worth little." NASU. The New Living Translation says it this way. "The words of the godly are like sterling silver."

How would you describe what you say (the words you use)? Do the words seem like valuable silver or are they worth litte?

You need only look as close as your tongue to find something valuable.
