Being dared by someone to do something is never a good thing. Those dares almost always lead us to do or say things that we later regret or cause us to suffer some consequences.
A true friend will help us make a wise decision not encourage us to do poorly.
Yesterday we saw Sarai unwilling to take responsibility for her actions. Today, Abram simply allows her to do something that is not honoring to God. Instead of helping Sarai resolve the matter between Hagar and Sarai, his actions allow the situation to grow worse.

Are you willing to help your friend make wise chooses or are you willing to let someone continue a path of destruction.
